La Pedriza, my choice for a serene getaway, offers a tranquil environment that is hard to find amidst the bustling tourist spots. Nestled just a short stroll from the Guadarrama National Park, I appreciated the quiet location, ideal for a peaceful retreat. This was my second stay, and I opted for a room with a terrace. It was delightful to unwind under the starlit sky at night, away from city light interference. The spacious room was comfortable, boasting necessary amenities like a refrigerator and a well-placed teapot in the common area. Although breakfast was basic, it provided a good start to the day before heading to the seasonal outdoor pool, perfect for basking under the sun. With well-maintained garden areas and a relaxed lounge, it creates an inviting atmosphere. The owners were approachable, making it easy to navigate any DIY aspects of the stay. This establishment also offers ample opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking and horseback riding. If you're seeking a calm retreat, La Pedriza may just be the rejuvenating escape you need.
